01. Microsoft Portrait：20世纪90年代末

微软描述称，Microsoft Portrait是一种低比特率的视频会议软件，比同类产品Skype（后被微软斥资85亿美元收购）和FaceTime早得太多。微软公布数据显示，现在Skype每天被呼叫的通话时间长达30亿分钟

02. Terraserver：1997年

Terraserver实际上就是Google Earth，只是谷歌当时还没想到这个创意。通过这款应用，你可以在卫星照片上看到自己的房子、社区以及任何你从未看到过的地方。1999年，微软封杀了Terraserver。如今，Google Maps已经成为世界上最常用的应用之一，仅次于Facebook、YouTube以及谷歌其他服务。2014年，这款应用据说被下载了6500万次。

03. MSN Messenger：1995年

Windows Mobile是第一款大众化智能手机操作系统，也可被用于高端手机，包括许多HTC生产的手机。Windows Mobile包括应用店、浏览器、触屏支持技术。2012年Windows Phone 7发布后，微软决定停止对Windows Mobile的技术支持。令人感到讽刺的是，苹果iPhone业务2015年为其带来超过1500亿美元营收，谷歌的安卓系统吸引了世界上1/5的人使用，三星Galaxy系列手机也帮其赚得盆满钵满。

10. Microsoft Courier：从未腾飞

11. Zune Music Pass：2010年
