除此以外iOS 17将有一个新的、专门用于头显的应用程序。据称，这将是一个类似于Watch应用的概念，但有"明显更多的功能"。主页应用似乎要进行改造，"重大改变"正在酝酿之中。

iOS 17是为运行在六种带有灵动岛的设备上而构建的，其中两种是已经上市的iPhone14 Pro和iPhone 14 Pro Max。这样看来，即将推出的四款iPhone 15机型都将采用灵动岛，最终放弃刘海。据说iPhone 15 Pro Max与iPhone 15 Pro相比，将配备"更先进的"图像处理软件，以及更好的冷却系统。
