10月12日发布的Apple Music团队的一个类似的iOS工程职位，包括6月份的招聘信息中出现的"homeOS"。该职位设在圣地亚哥，也在苹果的地区网站上发布，都提到了"homeOS"。

苹果目前有两个基于家庭的中央操作系统，即用于HomePod的audioOS和用于Apple TV的tvOS。audioOS是基于tvOS的，但两者在名称上仍有区别。

鉴于"homeOS"再次出现在另一份招聘信息中，我们可以认为这是苹果已经想到的，只是还没有公开。

另外，"homeOS"可能是苹果公司内部使用的一个名称，也可能永远不会成为一个面向公众的软件平台名称。
