MIT联手三星开发新型长寿电池 可以无限次充电

【环球科技报道 记者 心月】续航问题可以说是制约科技产品发展的最大瓶颈之一。续航问题出现的根源就在电池上。智能手机等电子设备往往需要每晚充电,白天时还要随身带着充电宝。

锂离子电池技术几十年没有突破性变化,新的电池技术不时出现却离商用很遥远,种种原因导致续航问题一直困扰着我们。而如今,这一情况有望得到改善:MIT三星的研究人员在《Nature Materials》期刊上发表了一篇论文,声称找到一种方法开发出具有无限寿命的高安全性充电电池。

根据论文,他们的方法是用固态电解液取代目前电池常用的液态电解液,从而大幅改进安全性、电池储存量和寿命。

论文作者之一的材料科学和工程教授Gerbrand Ceder说,固态电解液是革命性的,能解决电池的大部分问题,包括寿命、安全性和成本。

虽然看起来很美,但这项技术何时才能商用还是个未知数。
